As a responsible manufacturer, we have a commitment to sustainability. Our raison détre is to develop from biodegradable paper wastes, value-added and creative consumer products that are environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable – all these underpinning the ‘4R principles’ that EPPM clearly espouse: Recycling, Reducing, Re-using and Re-purposing.

In the process of making eco-friendly consumer pet products, resources are optimized to reduce our environmental footprint and waste. No virgin materials from old growth forests are permitted. Within our manufacturing, we refrain from using chemicals, bleaches or additives that might have contrary consequences to the environment or pets’ health. We took a clear position by resisting the use of plastic packaging  – our cat litter and small animal beddings are all packed into fully recyclable eco-friendly paper bags for consumers.

By taking a considered approach in all that we do, our sustainable strategy is consistent with efforts to promote a safer and greener planet.  We are determined to do our bit for the environment and none has expressed this better than Robert Swan, an author who said that: “The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it”.
